Microsoft LifeCam HD-5000 | Se apaga/desconecta y luego revive

Hace tiempo tuve un problema parecido que solucione cambiando el cable de coneccion usb y resoldando los conectores del mismo en la placa de circuito de la camara, al parecer un falso contacto dentro del cable justo donde este entra en la camara.

Pic 1:

this shows the webcam minus its flashy front covering, i removed this covering lifting a corner and peeling back. this uncovers two screws holding the cameras two parts together. take these out.

Pic 2:

now we have split the two halves. the front half holds the cameras mic and ground cable. the rear half holds the PCB, on the left side is the camera usb connection, to the right the mic's connection. to get the cable out from rear case, use a craft knife to scrape away the glue, then needle nose piers and twist/pull free ( remember to remove connections ) the cable and the clip type holder all comes away

Si sabes utilizar el probador de continuidad en el multimetro prueba desconecta el conector blanco que lleva al conector USB, checa cada uno de los cables por continuidad y tambien por cortocircuito entre ellos.

Revisa los puntos de soldadura en la base de los conectores blancos (2) y si hay soldaduras frias o falsos resoldalos.

El componente en la esquina superior derecha (8 pins) a veces se desolda o recalienta. checalo tambien.

Si has cuidado bien tu camara, es casi seguro que el cable USB es el problema.
