Hola Pavel,
estoy estudiando ruso. Estoy dando los primeros pasos y creo que en 45 años lograré saludar en ruso sin problema.

Estudio solamente cuando estoy en Rusia y ahora comenzaré con un profesor de origen mexicano que vive alla.

Es un idioma muy agresivo para uno que habla idiomas de origen latino, como el español. Para vosotros es bajar el nivel el pasar al español, para nosotros es subir el Everest. Si fuese màs joven quizàs no estarìa tan cerrado en las reglas fijas del español y podrìa entender la apertura màxima que tiene la lengua rusa.

Creo que español es dificil tambien...especialmente despues de ingles, pero me gusta mas, no se, por qué. Tiene algo magico..

Spanish seems to be useful I can understand written french and pourtuguez knowing a little bit of spanish. But for russians English still be more 'native', yeah?

Do you learn russian kirillic version or russian latin version? Kirillic is what might cause some troubles. I can proove it after learning arabic, which alphabet is very different from my native alphabet (which is kirillic).
Also...God, russian grammar is so screwing stupid, if I were not russian, I would never use it right

I use cyrillic because I go often to Russia. They use both, but mainly cyrillic. All is in cyrillic.

Russian grammar is terrible; all is open and it changes continuously...

I'm studying three Russian: reading and writing (uppercase and lowercase) and speaking. Each one has a different trouble....

Someone said me to learn speaking before and then read and write; but it's not good because it's better studying together since you can't pronounce like you read. The main problem are the 'o': sometimes pronounce 'o', sometimes 'a'; other trouble is the missing accents like spanish.

Oh!!! no, no, no...I can't read a book in Russian. Only some phrases or words.

I like Tolstoi, Gogol, Pushkin, Dostoyevsky,... but, I have not read them in Russian...

I practice reading magazines or periodics.

Repeat, I'm at the begining.... The more important thing is I'm not afraid of cyrillic or when someone speaks me.

ya se unas palabras y frases, pero eso no es suficiente por supuesto!
